FIREWORKS AND NEW 40 FOOT CHRISTMAS TREE ON DEC 4

It's about that time of year to get lit! Of course, we're talking about light bulbs shining brightly. Farmers Branch residents and visitors are invited to experience the lighting of the new 40 foot Christmas Tree on December 4 at The Grove at Mustang Station. The annual holiday kick-off includes a low level level fireworks show suitable for all ages to enjoy. This event is free and open to the public.


Children may visit with Santa from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. and take photos. Please note that Santa will take a brief 20 minute break at 6:50 p.m. but with a flash of a smile is scheduled to return at 7:10 p.m.


Find the fun in the Kids Zone in Liberty Plaza, filled with exciting carnival rides, face painters, balloon artists, strolling characters and more.


Carnival Rides: Ballistic Swing, Trackless Train, Reckless Ride, Kids Ferris Wheel, and Turbo Tubs Ride.


Listen to Brad Ackland on stage as he performs familiar songs by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald and more. Brad sings the music of the classic American songbook and holiday hits. Lady Diamond and the Ruff Rubies are known for their entertaining classic jazz and blues style. They are set to bring excitement to the stage also performing many Christmas favorites throughout the evening.



The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting is a favorite family tradition in Farmers Branch; and this year the concessions have a variety of menus to provide all the must-haves and even more. Choose from Nuevo Leon Mex-Mex Restaurant, JBW Vending, Dallas Grilled Cheese, Doughnut Snob and Taylor's Sweet Shop.



Skating Under The Stars is open at the Children's Health StarCenter in Farmers Branch and skaters are encouraged to register in advance for specific times open daily.
